 How To Deal With Tampering

Tampering with a GPS fleet tracking system can done in many ways. The struggle between engineers and crafty employees is evident in the evolution of the GPS industry. Early GPS systems were much easier to tamper with while today’s units are almost impossible. Tampering can be in the form of pulling a fuse, shorting a circuit board or putting liquid on the electronics. In recent years the Chinese have been trying to sell a GPS signal jamming device that works in a small area. The FCC and the several states like Wisconsin have come down hard on people using these but they are something to consider. Reality is that no matter how much a driver tries to beat the system, he or she will eventually get caught. As you learn to read the data you will be able to interpret the data with confidence and narrow the possibilities to driver activity.   (read more)
